Neumarkt , Germany, 3 January 2007 – Effective on 1 January 2007, RAIL.ONE GmbH has appointed Hans-Jürgen Jabs (59) as a new member of the Advisory Board of the company. After earlier assignments with Reynolds Aluminium and TRW Pleuger Unterwasserpumpen GmbH (manufacturers of underwater pumps), both with central offices in Hamburg, Mr. Jabs was named General Manager for Business Activities and Director of Human Resources of ALSTOM LHB GmbH in Salzgitter, Germany. In these positions, Hans-Jürgen Jabs was responsible for activities in the areas of strategy and planning, finances and controlling, IT, as well as human resources and law. In addition, he was Managing Director of the subsidiary Scharfenberkupplungen GmbH (coupling systems). From 1995 to 2005 Mr. Jabs further served as Chairman of the Board of ALSTOM LHB GmbH. He moreover became a member of the Board of Management of German ALSTOM Holding and, as Senior Vice President of ALSTOM Transport in Paris, held regional responsibility for Germany, Austria, Scandinavia, and Poland.
