In 2001 RAIL.ONE placed into operation its first production plant in Romania. Production of the main-track sleepers manufactured there is based on the technology of late form removal with direct bonding of the tendons. This technique guarantees an optimum of productivity and a maximum of quality. Since 2003, the new plant in Buzau, Romania, produces turnout sleepers in accordance with the long-bed principle. In early 2004, production of main-track sleepers was relocated to the new plant. As a result of the integration of resources achieved here, we have exploited all possible synergies in development and production. In this way, we systematically meet the respective challenges presented, in order to optimize system solutions for the greatest possible benefit to our customers.
