Dr. Toni Hofreiter, Member of German Parliament, visits RAIL.ONE

Remaining strong in Germany and growing internationally.

Neumarkt, Germany, 24 September 2007 – Today, Monday, 24 September 2007, the management of RAIL.ONE Group had the pleasure of welcoming as a guest to their home office in Neumarkt, Dr. (Mr.) Toni Hofreiter, Member of German Parliament from the party coalition Bündnis 90/Die Grünen, and Member of the Parliamentary Committee for Transportation, Construction, and Urban Development. Also visiting were Rosi Steinberger (member of the scientific staff in the Lower Bavarian / Upper Palatinate Regional Office of Dr. Hofreiter), Gabriele Bayer, Stefan Krusche, Dr. Roland Schlusche, and Johanna Stehrenberg from the County Association of the political coalition Bündnis 90/Die Grünen. In addition to an extensive exchange of views on current issues involving corporate development, a tour through the Neumarkt production facilities of RAIL.ONE Group was also part of the visitors’ program.

Despite all its international activities and growth perspectives, RAIL.ONE now as before feels strongly committed to its Upper-Palatinate home, and to the region around Neumarkt as its corporate and administrative headquarters. In Neumarkt itself, 130 of the total 800 employees in RAIL.ONE are in charge of the national and international activities of the company. They carry out efforts involving research, development, and quality control, and ensure effective company management and administration. At present, 13 young people are taking part in trainee programs in Neumarkt in collaboration with Pfleiderer AG and the former affiliated firm Europoles.

As a company with its roots in this region, RAIL.ONE considers it a matter of its own corporate image and outlook to cultivate active contact with political, economical, and social interest groups. For this reason, RAIL.ONE regularly invites representatives of these groups to visit its facilities at its Neumarkt locations: in order to take the opportunity to personally present details on its products, their application benefits, as well as its strategic corporate objectives.
