RAIL.ONE takes on the chair of Betonschwellenindustrie e. V.

Jochen Riepl is the new Chairman of the association

Neumarkt, Germany, 20 February, 2014 – On 29 January, 2014, Jochen Riepl, CEO of RAIL.ONE GmbH, was elected as the new Chairman at the regular general meeting of the Betonschwellenindustrie e. V. (Concrete Sleeper Industry Association). He now leads the association, together with Sascha Kohler, CEO of Getzner Werkstoffe GmbH. 

The goal of the association is the initiation and coordination of a professional dialogue between operators and producers of concrete sleepers for ballasted and ballastless track, as well as prefabricated supporting plates in Germany. This should ensure the continual improvement of products and state-of-the-art engineering. “I am very pleased with my election and look forward to our future work together. One important goal of the executive committee’s work is promoting the cooperative dialogue with Deutsche Bahn (German Railway). Experts, institutes, and scientific facilities will also be integrated and correspondingly networked,” says Jochen Riepl, CEO of RAIL.ONE GmbH and new Chairman of the Betonschwellenindustrie e. V. association.
